Take Me to Le Paris

A day trip to Governor's Island this weekend turned into a journey through time to 19th century France. Fête Paradiso is a collection of vintage carnival rides and carousels that has made it's summer home on Governor's Island. The atmosphere was peaceful and nostalgic. For a few hours I felt like a child in 1820's France. The details found on each carousel were so intricate and beautiful.
