Product Review: Maple Holistics Silk18 Shampoo

Happy April! Happy Spring! Happy Everything! Things have been a bit crazy for me the past few months. I got engaged, bought a new house in a new city, and have been renovating the house to make a home. Through all of that, I have also been trying to maintain a bit of self-care after long days of pulling up rugs and painting.

About a year and a half ago, Maple Holistics sent me the Silk18 Conditioner. I am lucky enough to get to work with this company again, and this time I am reviewing the Silk18 Shampoo.

The Silk18 Shampoo is just what my dry, frizzy hair needed. This shampoo is infused with a blend of 18 silk amino acids which help fortify hair follicles and strengthen strands to protect hair from dryness, breakage, damage, and split ends. Bonus: this stuff smells so good! There is a subtle, sweet scent of maple syrup. I also love the new packaging.

I have been using this shampoo for about a month now. I love the smell, the silky texture and how it makes my hair feel. The directions call for leaving the shampoo in your hair for 2-3 minutes so the argan, jojoba oils and silk amino acids can absorb fully. Its the perfect opportunity to lay back and take a breather while this stuff works its magic. My hair has been softer, healthier, and shinier since I have been using the Silk 18 Shampoo. This shampoo has revived my hair from the harsh winter and has me spring ready.

Maple Holistics carries a variety of other shampoos and conditioners for all hair types with ingredients from sage to tea tree. This company also has in incredible recycling program. For every six bottles of Maple Holistics products that you return to them, you will receive a free bottle of shampoo or have an equivalent donation made to an environmentally-friendly charity. How great is this? Maple Holistics offers amazing products and is helping reduce waste. That's a major win, win.
