June 2021 Favorites

The month of June was wonderful. Everything was green and growing, and the sun was out almost every day.  I spent much of June outside either gardening, going for walks, or just sitting in our backyard enjoying the fresh air during lunch breaks. For my monthly favorites this time around, I wanted to focus on activities I really enjoyed.

Tending to our veggie garden. I checked on the garden at least two times a day, sometimes more. I always go out in the morning with my coffee. Usually, Oliver joins for his morning outing where he inspects the garden diligently

Reading. In May I read three books in two weeks. I haven't devoured books like that in a long time. In June, I slowed down a bit but did start a Riley Sager thriller I am very excited about - Final Girls.

Walks around Frontier Park with Perry. We tried to go on a long walk around Frontier a few times a week. I love the scenery and Perry loves making new friends. He is also a good photo buddy and doesn't mind too much when I stop every few hundred yards to photograph a flower or bird.

A new morning routine that helps me start my day gently. This routine was implemented in late June, but nevertheless became my favorite way to start the day.

June was the perfect start to summer. I am so excited to see what July has in store. I hope you had a wonderful June and that your July is already going great!
