Erie Local Spotlight 2021: The Thrifty Shopper

There is nothing quite like finding a hidden gem. When Alex introduced me to The Thrifty Shopper I knew she was letting me in on one of Erie's best-kept secrets. This thrift store is so well organized and has great displays. The selection and quality of the items are top-notch. 

I ended up purchasing only one item, which took a lot of self-control. I cannot say with confidence I will be so conservative next time I stop in. This adorable shoulder bag was just a few bucks. I love the shape and color so much! 

The Thrifty Shopper not only provides amazing secondhand items from apparel to furniture, but the funds generate revenue to support the Mission's many programs and services. With every purchase, you can round out to the nearest dollar amount. In 2020, the round-ups provided 5,568 meals to the homeless. Shopping secondhand and supporting the Erie City Mission? I can get behind that!
