Indie Bookstore Day 2024: Book Haul

Saturday, April 27 was Indie Bookstore Day and you know I was at my favorite local bookstore, Werner Books and Coffee! To commemorate this day, Werner invited local authors and artists to showcase their books and creations. I meet up with two girlfriends, grabbed a Strawberry Basil Lemonade, and started shopping! 

I knew for certain I'd be buying at least one book. Emily Henry's newest book, Funny Story, hit the shelves on Tuesday, April 23. I have read all of her books. Book Lovers is my favorite. When I went home with three books, I was surprised by my self control. 

I started the ACOTAR series in March and am almost done with the third book. I figured I might as well grab the fourth book, A Court of Frost and Starlight, in the series just in case I finished up A Court of Wings and Ruin over the weekend.

The Golden Couple has been on my wishlist for a few years. This thriller is about a marriage in crisis and a therapist with unorthodox methods.
