Monthly Favorites: April 2024
Unbelievable astronomical events, road trips to Tennessee, and vocabulary lessons from Taylor Swift sums up my April.
Blueberry Cold Foam from Werner Books & Coffee. The cafe at Werner Books is top-notch. The team is always creating new, delicious drinks and sweets. My April fixation drink was their Blueberry Cold Foam Iced Coffee. I am so happy iced coffee season again.
Total Solar Eclipse. On April 8, 2024, I witnessed the most incredible celestial phenomenon. In 2017, there was a partial eclipse my youngest brother and I viewed through a cereal box on the patio of my dad's house. While a partial eclipse was incredible, nothing compares to the experience of a total solar eclipse. Not only did I get to see this event firsthand, I had a role in promoting the eclipse in Erie as part of my job! Those few minutes of totality will forever be burned into my memory.
Roadtrip to Nashville. When the trip makes it out of the group chat it's a good day! A group of us headed to Nashville for a few days to visit my brother and explore. We ventured to Broadway to listen to live music on rooftops. Enjoyed incredible food and went mural hunting around town. The weather was perfect
The Tortured Poets Department by Taylor Swift. I have listened to this album every day since it was released. "Whose Afraid of Little Old Me?" and 'imgonngetyouback" are constintantly playing. Compared to Taylor's other albums, I do find myself skipping songs, but I have about 10 tracks I cannot get enough of.
