What I Read: May 2025
May was so busy and reading was just not prioritized. When I had some downtime to read, I dove into a thriller book. One crime thriller, lead to another and beofre I knew it, I had finished another Freida McFadden book in record time.

⭐⭐⭐
Short, but not exactly sweet. The main character, Nadia, wasn’t the most likable—though her estranged father, Viktor (with a "k"), totally stole the show for me. He added some much-needed humor to the story. While this quick read didn’t completely satisfy me, it was still a solid short story that kept me entertained.
Do Not Disturb by Freida McFadden
⭐⭐⭐
This fast-paced thriller gave me serious Psycho vibes. Quinn is on the run and ends up stranded at a remote motel during a snowstorm. The seemingly kind motel owner and his ailing wife quickly go from helpful to creepy—especially when Quinn’s sister shows up and starts to unravel the truth. True to form, Freida McFadden delivers plenty of twists and turns. I audibly gasped more than once!
