Monthly Favorites: December 2025

The coziest month of the year turned out to be exactly what I needed—relaxing, healing, and the perfect way to close out the year.

Cozy Christmas Decorations
You know it was a busy holiday season when you never actually put the ornaments on the tree. As of right now, the box of ornaments is still sitting underneath it. I even thrifted a new tree topper and never opened the box! But despite all that, the tree and mantel still gave me minimalist Ralph Lauren Christmas vibes—and I loved it.

Kindle Colorsoft
I treated myself to a little Black Friday gift: a Kindle Colorsoft. It’s my first Kindle, and I am absolutely flying through books. I used to be such a book snob, but the Kindle has completely changed my reading game for the better. I’ve also been loving decorating it—Kindle inserts are officially my favorite craft right now.

Junk Journaling
I picked this hobby back up in November after a summer hiatus, and I can’t believe I started junk journaling one year ago. I’ve created over 30 junk journal spreads this year alone! Here’s hoping there are many more in 2026.

Friday Morning Brew Ha Ha Club
December drinks at Brew Ha Ha were extra festive. The White Christmas latte—white chocolate topped with peppermint whipped cream—was my favorite. I was on a strong peppermint kick all month. More than anything, I loved seeing the girls each week. Some weeks, it was my only social outing besides going into the office. I can’t wait until FMBC is back… six more months?

Coloring Books
When I was planning my trip out West with MJ, I knew two things: I wanted MJ to cook us a homemade Italian meal, and I wanted us to color together. I started buying coloring books I saw on TikTok and quickly discovered my favorite format (spiral-bound) while testing out different markers. Since our trip to the Pacific Northwest, I’ve continued coloring almost every weekend. It’s been incredibly relaxing and peaceful.
