Snickerdoodles

While I was home last week, I was able to do a lot of baking, which I have missed since moving to the city. One of the simplest, but most fun and delicious cookies, in my opinion, is the Snickerdoodle. With most cookies, you scoop out the dough with a spoon and plop it on the cooking tray, but I love being able to work the Snickerdoodle dough. Rolling out balls of dough and tossing it around the cinnamon and sugar mix was my favorite part of the Snickerdoodle process as a little girl baking with my mom. It turns out, years later it is still my favorite. I used this recipe and whipped up a warm and gooey batch in no time.
