Road Trip Reads

I'm currently on the road headed to Bonnaroo! We should be in Nashville by this evening! I have snacks, music, and some good reads along with my travel companions to keep me entertained throughout this road trip. I tend to always over pack books and magazines when I travel. I like to be ambitious with my reading, but I usually end up only looking at the magazines. I have two magazines and two books I am bring with me on my road trip.

1. People StyleWatch. I love looking through magazines for blog inspiration, and, of course, outfit inspiration. I particularly love People Style Watch since it is equals parts style and celeb news/gossip.

2. Sharks: The Ultimate Handbook. Have I emphasized my love of sharks and more speciafically, Shark Week? 20 days to go! I am so excited to read every single word of the shark handbook and spit out facts all throughout the road trip. We will all be shark experts by the end of this trip.

3. Me Before You. I have a terrible habit of not reading the book in advance of the movie coming out, but the plus side of that is being able to rent it by the time I finish the book. When I saw the trailer for this, I was in tears and knew I had to read it.

4. I Am That Girl. I found this book through a Refinery29 reading list. Barnes & Noble states, "Alexis believes that you’re not broken nor do you need to be fixed. You already are that girl who creates magic wherever she goes, who lives fearlessly, who inspires those around her to dream bigger, and who will leave the world better, just for having been in it." We could all use a little inspiration some times.
