Father's Day Gift Guide: Back to the Basics

I don't know about your dad, but my dad is a bit difficult to shop for. He isn't into gadgets or tech, and he already owns every tool and lawn care contraption imaginable. So, what do you gift a dad who is impossible to shop for? Let's go back to the basics. Sometimes, simple is best.

It's rare for my dad to buy himself new clothes. He recently bought a new pair of jeans for the first time is possibly a decade. While denim is not a top gifting choice, you can't go wrong with a good shirt. I like to opt for both a classic tee and a nice polo. My dad has beautiful blue eyes so I am always gravitating towards shades of blue for his wardrobe. Kohl's always has so much to choose from.
I am also guilty of always buying my dad a book for pretty much every holiday. He loves nonfiction stories about the military. My grandfather, uncle and brother were all in the Marines and that is something my father and our whole family is very proud of. Barnes & Noble has an incredible selection and I love raiding their sale section.
A few years back, I gifted my dad a watch. He is not in the market for a new one just yet, but I found this gorgeous wood watch that would be a great gift for any dad. I love how the Tree Hut watches are a fun, modern twist on a classic timepiece.
Just like with his clothing, my dad has had the same razor ever since I can remember. Not that I want to replace his old razor-because if it ain't broke, don't fix it- but I would like to give him an updated version. Harry's Razors are amazing and the Truman Set is a great gift.

 Don't forget a fun gift bag because presentation is key. Pro Tip: Always buy wrapping paper and gift bags from a Dollar Store. Why pay more than $1 for those items?
