My Favorite Small Businesses in Erie

Happy Small Business Saturday! Since moving to Erie, PA in March I have loved exploring my new city and discovering the local businesses. There are so many wonderful locally owned stores in Erie, but here are the 5 stores I keep visiting!

I spent a few quiet mornings writing at Ember & Forge. It never takes long for the coffee shop to fill up with locals and the sounds of greeting friends and espresso machines hissing. The menu is simple and the coffee is always perfect.

I am so happy Andora's is up and running after their store suffered water damage. I went yesterday on my lunch break and got a hot green mango tea with tapioca and strawberry bubbles! Now that I am working just a few blocks away, I will be visiting often.

I first experienced the melt-in-your-mouth-goodness that Federal Hill smokes up a few weeks ago. My mouth still waters when I think about it. The prices are great and the food is life changing!

This small store packs a big punch. I became a member about a month ago and love buying fresh local honey and organic veggies. The bakery items always look amazing and everyone who works at the co-op is so friendly and helpful.

I first experienced the friendly and fun vibe of Tipsy Bean when I took a yoga class there. For $10, a 1 hour yoga class and a beverage was included. I tried an Iced Lavender Haze, which is mixture of lavender and hazelnut coffee. It was so good!

There is so much more for me to explore in Erie. I love to follow business on Instagram and found some great shops I want to check out soon. Here are 3 small business where I plan on doing my Christmas shopping:

I love a good boutique and all the items this store carries look so cute! Boutiques are a great place to find unique pieces, from fringe blazers to accessories.

Locally made soaps and candles? Yes, please! I can think of so many people on my shopping list who would love these products.

I need to stop in this shop ASAP! I love thrift shopping, but a vintage boutique is a step up. The items are curated, in great condition, and are sure to be a conversation starter when you wear that special piece out.

Tell me some of your favorite small business in Erie!
