My Skincare Routine in 5 Steps

I recently watched Eva Chen's nighttime skincare routine and I instantly felt the need to up my game. My morning routine is okay, but could also use an update. I usually just rinse my face with water and tone with Thayers Witch Hazel. My nighttime routine looks a bit similar, but add makeup remover wipes (if necessary) and a cleanser. After seeing the array of products used by a former beauty editor, I knew I was missing a few important steps. Mainly, moisturizer and a serum.
I hit up my local Target and found 2 new products to incorporate to my skincare routine. The two newest addictions are Pacifica Glow Baby Booster Serum and Bliss Drench & Quench Moisturizer.
Here is my 5 step routine that takes just a few minutes.

Step One
Wash my face with Drunk Elephant Jelly Cleanser.
I recently received a sample of this and I love it. I am pretty picky about cleansers because they can dry my skin out if the formula is a bit harsh. This formula is gentle and hydrating.

Step Two
Tone face with Thayers Witch Hazel in Rose Petal.
I have been using this brand for over a year and I swear it is the main reason my skin has been so great. It picks up every little speck of dirt and makeup. I have tried other toners and Thayers is the best!

Step Three
Spritz face with Lush Tea Tree Water.
I have used this toner for 3 years. Possibly longer. This formula refreshes my skin. It really helps to keep my oily skin at bay, but never dries my skin out. Yes, I use two toners. I can't help it, I love them both!

Step Four
Apply small amount of Pacifica Glow Baby Booster Serum.
Okay, first of all this stuff smells amazing! I use a few drops, warm it up by rubbing my hands together, and gently press it into my face. I mainly focus on my forehead, under-eyes and jawline. I avoid my t-zone so I don't clog my pores.

Step Five
Apply dime size amount of Bliss Drench & Quench Moisturizer.
This moisturizer also smells so good. The formula is gel-like, which I love because it seems to soak into my skin better than some moisturizers. I picked up the smaller container, which is only $4.99, to try it out, and I will definitely be purchasing this again.

I have been following this skincare routine for a few weeks and my skin looks and feels different. My skin is smoother and brighter. I am also so excited that my skin hasn't had any bad reactions to these new products. My skin can be so finicky and breaks out pretty easily. Yay to being 30 and finally having a solid skincare routine!
