Bethesda Foundation covered in snow
NYC seems to be on my mind lately. I lived in New York City for three years while attending LIM College, and I tend to miss the city most during the holidays. The city all dressed up is just magical. LIM has three buildings scattered around midtown Manhattan and the building where I had a majority of my classes were on the corner of 54th and 5th Ave. In between classes I loved to wander up and down the avenue. I would frequently shop at Uniqlo and H&M and window shop at Saks and Nordstrom. The windows of these stores are always amazing, but during the holidays they shine the brightest. Literally and figuratively. A few weeks again I came across an article all about the window displays this year. One store really caught my attention. Saks Fifth Avenue has 6 beautifully and intricately decorated windows all to the theme of Frozen II. The outside of the store has been done up to look like the castle from the movie and there is even a
light show that coordinates with music! It's stunning! I saw the movie with a friend two weeks ago and just loved it! I am such a kid at heart, especially when it comes to Disney movies.
Check out the rest of the Saks windows
here. For more NYC holiday goodness, here is an
old post from 2012. This was my first NYC Christmas experience.
