Mary's Kitchen: My Favorite Sunday Tradition

Sundays have always been my favorite day.  In the spring and summer, a sunny Sunday is just the best way to start the week. In the fall, there is football and all the snacks. In the winter, hot cocoa by the fireplace is a Sunday must.
Since we have been on the stay at home order, my newest Sunday morning tradition is making a big, delicious brunch. I love waking up a little later than usual, making a cup of coffee, and picking an album to listen to on the record player while I whip up breakfast. It's nothing too fancy, but I love taking a little extra time to make pancakes or French toast. My go-to is fluffy pancakes with eggs and bacon.
After making many batches of pancakes, I have discovered the best way to get that golden brown color is by not adding butter to your pan. You also want to make sure you have a good non-stick frying pan

The Sunday Scaries aren't so bad with a delicious meal and a relaxing day of reading, listening to music, writing, or working on crafts. How do you combat the #sundayscaries?
