Thrift Store Finds: Home Decor Favorites

When the world opens back up, there are two things I am so looking forward to doing. The first is visiting with my family, and after that, I will be hitting up all the thrift stores. I love thrifting. This is going to sound so cheesy, but I love the hunt. You never know what treasures you might find. I have found some pretty special pieces. From a very unique console table to colorful framed art, my home is filled with wonderful items I have collected over the years.

My favorite find has to be this vintage suitcase console table. I found this at a Salvation Army for $30. That price is a little more than I'd normally spend when shopping secondhand, but I could not pass up this cool piece! The top is actually a wooden luggage piece that sits in the metal frame. It opens up and is great for storage. This summer I plan to add a light finish to really freshen it up.
I like to keep the decor on this table simple because I really wanted this piece to shine on its own. I just added some vintage candlesticks, a lamp from my childhood bedroom, and fresh flowers. The bottom shelf I use to store cookbooks, a cake stand, and other knickknacks.

My other favorite item is a framed art print. I paid $5.99 for this French Beer Museum art print, frame and all. I just recently rediscovered this in a closet I had thrown it in for storage. I have been wanting to hang a new picture above the bar cart. The colors in this print go perfectly with our dark blue dining room. I can't believe I almost forgot about this gem!
