Erie Local Spotlight 2022: Coffee in the Park

I drove over to Lawrence Park to drop Perry off at TLC Grooming yesterday morning. I only head to that part of town when it's time for Perry to get a trim. But the night before, I remembered there is a coffee shop in town I always drive by. I've been meaning to stop in and thought it would be a great time to check it off my bucket list.

Coffee in the Park is an adorable coffee shop! I love the space and the decor. It’s so cute and cozy. There is plenty of space to eat with friends or work. They have an extensive food and drink menu. I was a tad overwhelmed with the options. When that happens, I always ask the employees what they recommend. I was told new drinks specials just came out. They are Star Wars themed! I ordered the CAF, which is a delicious ice latte with blue hazelnut milk and whipped coffee. I also grabbed the Early Bird breakfast bagel that is grilled and loaded with ham, egg, and cheese. 

While my latte and breakfast bagel was being prepared, I walked around the coffee shop to check out all the great items they had for sale. There were earrings, t-shirts, cards, stickers, and so much more. I ended up purchasing a pair of PA-shaped earrings and a sticker. 

I wasted no time trying the CAF once my food was ready. It was so tasty! I introduced myself to the woman working. She ended up being the owner, Sarah. I found out she and her husband also make the jewelry that is sold in the store. It was a pleasure to meet Sarah and I am really looking forward to my next visit!
