Monthly Favorites: October 2023

October was filled with beautiful fall colors, masquerade balls, and work milestones.

The foliage this fall was unlike anything I have seen in recent years. The leaves were every shade of red, orange, and yellow. It was the perfect setting for a two-day fall photo shoot for work where we traveled around Erie County to various locations to shoot content. My favorite soot location was Edinboro Lake Resort. The reflection of the trees in the lake felt like I was in a painting.

Speaking of my job, I celebrated my one-year anniversary at VisitErie. I am so grateful to work for such a fun and exciting organization. One year done and many more to go!

The gallery wall in my office has some new additions. The piece I am holding is by Madeline Justine Co. She just released a new collection, "Lake Erie on Film" that I fell in love with and immediately ordered. Her work is so unique! Check out her Etsy shop for cyanotype art and repurposed apparel.

The month ended on a high note with the rerelease of 1989 (Taylor's Version). I have been listening to the vault tracks on repeat.  It's hard to choose a favorite but I play "Say Don't Go" every time I get in the car.

These days I am all about comfy clothes, but B and I did get all dressed up for the Masquerade at the Museum. We had a wonderful dinner with his team (his company was a sponsor of this event) at the Erie Club before heading to the museum to see the newest collections, ghost stories, and the Thriller dance to end the night.
