Monthly Favorites: June 2025
June felt like one long golden hour—glowing, busy, and full of little joys that I don’t want to forget.
Here’s everything I loved this month:
Oba Sushi
A new gem in Downtown Erie! Oba is my latest lunch obsession. The sushi is fresh and beautiful, and it’s the kind of spot that makes you want to linger a little longer than you planned.
Two-Day Photo Shoot
Kicked off the month with a whirlwind two-day shoot for a summer campaign. Long days, lake breeze, and creative energy everywhere—exactly the kind of work that fills my cup. The 4 a.m. kayak shoot was so early, but nothing beats an Erie sunrise (or sunset).
Reading Outside
Give me a shady spot, a cold drink, and a good book, and I’m happy. I read outside every chance I got this month.
Beach Walks with B and Perry
Evening walks along the lake have become sacred. B, Perry, and the rhythm of the waves—pure peace.
Avril Lavigne Concert
And to end on a high note (or several scream-sung ones): I lost my voice at the Avril Lavigne concert—Simple Plan and We the Kings opened, and it was everything. Teenage dream fulfilled.
LEAF Open Market
There’s just something about the first market of the season. I brought home a bouquet and a loaf of crusty bread that barely lasted 24 hours.
Bay and Berry
Finally tried it—and I have one word: Butter. Specifically, the Butter Flight. Trust me, it’s worth it.
Presque Isle Sunsets
June served up some of the most mesmerizing sunsets I’ve seen in a while. Lake Erie really knows how to show off this time of year.
6 Pack House of Beer
Our new go-to for wings! Bonus: it’s dog-friendly, so Perry can tag along. The vibe is casual, the wings are top-tier, and it’s quickly become part of our weekend routine.
