Erie Local Spotlight 2021: Port Farms

The weekend was jam-packed. My best friend came to visit and we did all the things! Sunday we started our day around 9am and didn't get back to my house until almost 7 pm. We had brunch, did some shopping, and ended the day in the most magical place. Port Farms has been on my radar for some time now. Going on now at Port Farms is their new event, the Flower Festival. There are 5 acres of gorgeous sunflowers and colorful zinnias. It was absolutely stunning to walk through these fields of flowers. I felt like I was in a mystical fairyland. Butterflies were fluttering about and happy little bumblebees hopped from flower to flower. There were so many varieties of sunflowers. My heart was burning with happiness. We walked through the fields, picked so many flowers, took so many photos, and came home with a bucket overflowing with blooms. Every corner of my house has a vase full of flowers.
