My Favorite Red Carpet Looks from the Critics Choice Awards 2022

There has been a couple award shows in the past few days, but the Critics Choice Awards caught my eye. It took place last night in Los Angeles. Queue the glitter, bright colors, and pleats. I also noticed quite a few midi-length dresses, along with the classic floor-length gowns. Nine looks really stood out to me. 

Kristin Stewart in Dolce & Gabbana

When I think of Kristen Stewart I do not think glamour, but she is proving me wrong. I love this look and the old Hollywood vibe. This is my favorite look of the night from the dress to the hair to the makeup. 

Kristin Wiig in Rodarte

This new look Wiig debuted is edgy and I am here for it. The lacey sheet dress with the jet black pixie cut. Okay, I see you, Kristin Wiig.

Mychal-Bella Bowman in Andrea & Leo Couture

I am a sucker for celestial designs. Bowman looks gorgeous. I love how the tulle plays into the celestial theme. It adds a very airy and sky-like feel. 

Ella Purnell in Valentino

I am a big fan of the Showtime series Yellowjacks and I am a big fan of this neon gown. 

Peyton List in Yanina Couture

I remember watching Peyton List on the Disney show, Jessie. She is grown up and developed some killer style. I love this exaggerated look from the puffy sleeves to the giant scattered tear-drop pearls. 

Zoey Deutch in Alexander McQueen

This hot pink color was seen a few times on the red carpet. I love the juxtaposition of the tight bustier top and full, ruffled bottom.

Sophie Nélisse in Monique Lhuillier

The Yellowjackets cast showed up. Sophie Nelisse looks stunning in this baby blue floor-length Lhuillier, but the show stopper is the cape. 

Rachel Zegler in Dior Haute Couture

I recently watched the West Side Story remake and I was blown away by Rachel Zegler's voice. She looks gorgeous in this seafoam green gown. 

Elle Fanning in Oscar de la Renta

I always love Elle's outfits. She always looks like a princess. This shimmery gold midi dress with a pony is sophisticated and so fun.
