Book Haul: Summer TBR
I bought nine books in one day. That is a new record for me. It was a beautiful Saturday. I had the morning to myself so naturally I went to my favorite locally-owned bookstore, Werner Books. A book I ordered came in so I needed to go there anyway. It wasn't my fault there was a dollar shelf on the sidewalk before I even stepped foot in the store where I found two books. Once inside, I found three used books. They practically fell off the shelf into my hands. I walked out with six books, but no big deal. But it didn't stop there...
I was planning to venture to North East that same day. There is a new-to-me bookstore in town that I have been wanting to check out. Maybe I would buy one book. I was looking for a children's book so I could buy that and support this bookshop too. tia book cellar is located inside Lake County Bikes. This bookstore is a store within a store. The space is small, but filled with great reads. I walked out of that store with one children's book and three more books for myself. Oops.
I plan to read as much as possible this summer. I cannot wait to spread mornings on the beach relaxing with a good book. Good thing I have a lot of options!
From Werner Books:
Secrets of the Chocolate House by Paula Brackston
Magnolia Parks by Jessa Hastings
Summer People by Elin Hilderbrand
The Vacationers by Emma Staub
The Ballerinas by Rachel Kapelke-Dale
From tia book cellar:
Family of Liars by E. Lockhart
The Secret Service of Tea and Treason by India Holton
Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I already started Family of Liars. I recently finished We Were Liars, the first book, and it was so good! I am excited to dive back into the family drama.
Have you read any of these books?
