Erie Local Spotlight 2023: Ippa Pizza

I love pizza and for being a small city, Erie has a surprising amount of pizza joints. I am on a mission to try them all! Buffalo was overflowing with great pizza and chicken wings. I miss that tasty pizza. Erie has a few standouts that B and I order from regularly. Johns Wildwoods and Sticks & Bricks to name our two favorites. I just might have a third to add to this list. My most recent pizza exploration was Ippa Pizza. 

Ippa is open seasonally from spring to early winter. They do not have a storefront, but they do have a semi-permanent location for their giant food truck! Located on 2614 Glenwood Park Ave, Ippa specializes in Neapolitan pizza. They hand stretch their dough and use quality ingredients.

Last week I ordered ahead for pickup. We tried two pizzas: Bianca and Garlic Smasher (pictured). Both were so delicious, but B and I agreed that the Bianca was our favorite. The ricotta was the shining start on that pizza! 

I'm really looking forward to trying more of their menu. They also have cheesy garlic bread that I need to try ASAP. Have you tried Ippa yet?
