Monthly Favorites: July 2022

July was a fun-filled month. For the 4th, B and I went to Columbus to visit my brother. We went to Glow Putt, which is an indoor glow-in-the-dark mini golf course. We had some great Mexican food and took a day trip to Cinncinati to see the Reds play the Mets. My brother is a big Mets fan. We had fantastic seats and got to enjoy a fireworks show after a Mets win. It was a great trip and I cannot wait to visit my brother in Columbus again.

Our garden was thriving in July and we had so much zucchini and squash. For one week, we ate zucchini every day. I tried out this Zucchini Fry recipe and it was amazing.

When I wasn't eating zucchini, I was eating strawberries. More specifically, strawberry shortcake.

Every few months, I like to freshen up my living space by rearranging furniture and switching around rugs. I moved a rug I had in my closet room back down to the living room. I had my eye on this pink checkered rug for a few months and when it finally went on sale I grabbed it. I love it so much. It is so cute and very fluffy. It really adds a fun and whimsical vibe to my closet room.

July was jam-packed with all the summer things. August is underway and I am excited about what this month has in store!
