We Shopped Till We Dropped

Yesterday, was my first full day in the city. The forecast predicted rain so we figured we would spend the day indoors shopping. We went to my two favorite stores, H&M and Forever 21. I wasn't shopping for anything in particular. I knew I wanted to find a long beige sweater for the Fall, but that was about it. Well, I found an amazing sweater that is exactly what I picture in my head, plus a ton more items! It hit the jackpot at H&M, and found some amazing pieces at Forever 21! I am so excited for the temperature to drop a few degrees so I can sport my new staple items for the Fall. One of my favorite purchases is the beautiful layered necklace pictures above. The colors are perfect for Fall and will go with about any outfit since the teardrops are pretty neutral colors. I picked up that necklace at Forever 21 for $7.80!

I am so in love with all of my purchases. I think I am most excited about the lace top and the cropped pants. I also love the nautical feel of the ruffle top. I can't wait to mix and match these pieces to create numerous outfits all throughout Fall.
After shopping the day away, we headed back to Ashley's apartment to relax for a bit before heading out to dinner. We went to our favorite burger joint in town, The Shake Shack. The ordered our food and snagged a table outside to enjoy the cool breeze. Once we scarfed down our dinner, we walked around for a bit and planned our next move. After some deliberation, we decided to buy a bottle of wine and some snacks to take back to the apartment for a fun, relaxing night in. It was a great day!
Today, we are spending the day at Central Park. We are packing a lunch, picking up Crumbs cupcakes (which I hear are delicious, and I'm very excited), and wandering around the park for the afternoon. Tonight, we are going to walk the Brooklyn Bridge. I am so excited! Lots of pictures to come!
