Daily Beauty Products

I like to keep my daily makeup routine pretty simple. For the most part, I can throw on my makeup in about 5 minutes or less. here's what I have been using and a few news items I have added to my regime.
I start with Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer as my foundation. Depending on my skin, I can dab on a light amount or build it up on more troubling days. I like to top off the tinted moisturizer with some powder foundation. Dolce & Gabbana Perfection Veil Pressed Powder is a favorite. This step helps keep everything in place. For blush, I have found the holy grail. Benefits Benetint Cheek and Lip Stain. This liquid blush stays on all day and gives me a dewy look. I also love Benefit's Roller Lash mascara. I do not use a eyelash curler and this product truly does give your lashes some curl. These four products are my basics for everyday.
For special occasions or when I need to look extra presentable, I'll add just a few more products to the mix. Nars Laguna Bronzer for a healthy glow and Makeup Forever concealer is my go-to for pesky spots or under eye circles. When I use a bit of eyeshadow, I start out with Urban Decay's Primer Potion. I have used this for years and still love it. I normally stick to just one or two colors for my lid. I love the Dior eyeshadow in gold . This product goes on sheer or can be layered for a more vibrant, bold look. I have been dying to play around with a smokey gold eye with this. I used to be a eye pencil girl, until I discovered Cynthia Rowley liquid liner over a year ago and I haven't looked back. It is so easy to apply and lasts all day.
