Apps I'm Loving

Audible
I have about a 30-40 minute commute to and from work each day. After a while the radio and Apple music just don't cut it, so I started listening to books. Aubile is an awesome app that offers a monthly subscription for $14.95. You receive one credit towards any book of your choice each month. So far I have listed to Bossypants by Tina Fey, Troublemaker by Leah Remini, and I Didn't Come Here to Make Friends by Courtney Robertson, who was on Ben Flajnik's season of The Bachelor. If you are a Bachelor fan, this book has a lot of details about the show and is actually not as stagged as you may think. I am currently listening to Brooklyn by Colm Toibin. Listening to books is so relaxing and allows me to catch up on books I have been wanting to read, but have just not made the time for. If you are looking for something new to pass the time while you drive, run or workout, I highly recommend Audible.

Digit
I learned about Digit through a Refinery29 article. I am terrible at budgeting and saving money. Money just burns a whole in my pocket! Digit is so easy and it;s a great way to start saving. I love checking my account and seeing how much I have saved each week. It is definitely getting me on track being more responsible and conscious about my spending.

Plant Nanny
To be honest, I only just heard about this app very recently, but it has been a big eye opener. The object of this app is to help you drink your required glasses of water per day. Fun fact, 8 glasses of water is the minimum recommendation. You should really drink a certain amount of water based on your weight and activity level. According to this app, I should be drinking 11 glasses a day! I already have a hard time drinking 8 glasses. For each glass of water you drink, you mark it in the app and water your plant. If you don't reach your goal, your plant dies. Full disclosure, I already killed my plant. Twice. I definitely have some work to do to get up to 11 glasses.

Next Episode
I've been hearing about this app on YouTube a lot lately. I do not have many shows I watch, but there are so many goods shows coming out that I don't want to forget to check out. Has anyone seen The Catch? It looks so good! I need to catch up on the first episode. (No pun intended.) It's an easy way to keep track of my shows and I especially like turning to this app when I am planning out my week in my Erin Condren.
