Milestones

This post marks my 500th blog entry! I am in awe! I started this blog in 2009 as an outlet for my thoughts and feelings on my day to day life. Over the past 7 years, I have gone astray, but my love for fashion, beauty, and writing has always brought me back to this blog. To celebrate this milestone, I wanted to take a look back at 5 of my favorite posts from over the years.

1. A Sweet Escape
I wrote this post in the fall of 2011. I had only written a conbined 40 posts in 2009 and 2010. Most of them lacked pictures and were short blurbs about friendship and little things that inspired me that day. In 2011, I really amped up my posts. I tried to make sure to document events and outings. Fall is my favorite month and it was my first time apple picking which made for a great post. I had so much fun and was so happy with the pictures my friend and I had taken.

2. 100 Followers Giveaway
This post was and is so monumental for me. I was in complete shock that over 100 people wanted to follow my little blog. It meant (and still means) so much to me. One hundred may not seem like a lot, but for me it's incredible!

3. Enchanted Forest
If I could take all outfit pictures at Chestnut Ridge I would. This park is so beautiful and I feel so lucky to live so close. My friend Sam took these photos and he was so great about getting the shots. Posts were few and far between in 2013. I moved to NYC that year and was so busy with work and school. In 2014, I didn't post once.

4. Pantone Color of the Year
This is a more recent post, but I just love the colors. I had so much fun creating this image. My imagery has definitely improved over the years. I used to be very adamant about structure and clean lines, but I have tried to get more and more creative with imagery and photographs.

5. Holiday Wish List
Speaking of stepping up the creativity levels, this post is by far my favorite in terms of style and design, I worked so hard to get this tree just right. I love putting together wish lists and gift guides so I had a blast working on this.

I am so excited to continue writing and coming up with fun and creative images and posts. Thank you so much for visiting my little space on the interweb!
