Water Wonders
This past weekend my best friend MJ paid a visit. It was her first time in Buffalo, and she described her trip perfectly in just a few words: an experience. We ate at all the best spots in the area from Chef's to Panos to Spot Coffee on Elmwood, skied at Kissing Bridge, and went to see Niagara Falls. While she was unsure how she felt about Buffalo (she kept referring to it as The Frontier, which is not totally off), she loved all of her experiences. The drive to Glenwood was beautiful with snow covered trees and hills. The food she devoured was delicious. But, the best part of the trip was visiting the Falls. I have lived in Buffalo my whole life (minus the three years I spent in NYC) and I often forget how majestic the Falls are, and, more importantly, that they are one of the seven natural wonders of the world. That in itself is pretty remarkable. I live 20 minutes away from one of the seven natural wonders of the world. I take that for granted. The weather was sunny and so warm on Sunday. It was the perfect day to visit. Here are a few pictures I took of the Falls. I cannot wait to go back when it gets warmer and enjoy their beauty again.
