National Secondhand wardrobe Week 2023: All-Time Favorite Pieces

I have been thrifting for many years now. I have found gorgeous pieces over the years, but there are some finds that will always be my favorite pieces.

My all time favorite find has to be the floral Oscar de la Renta scarf I found in Columbus, Ohio. My brother lives in Columbus. The first time I went to visit him I did some research and found the cutest secondhand boutique called Smartypants Vintage. It was $25, which is more like I like to spend on secondhand items, but it's Oscar de la Renta so I couldn't say leave it behind. I often tie this to a bag in the spring and summer for a fun pop of color.

I have talked about this blazer a few times, but I can't help it. I picked up this amazing Pendleton blazer in the Fall of 2019 from Pointe Foure Vintage Boutique. It's probably my all-time favorite purchase. If I recall correctly, I only paid $35 for this beauty. It was on sale for half off. I love a sale. I love a simple all-black look with the blazer serving as the pop of color and texture.

I've had this dress for years. I found it at Salvation Army for a few dollars. It is shear, but I have a few blacks slips that work great with this. Paired with flats or black tall boots, this dress works for some many seasons.

What are some of your favorite thrift store finds?
