Erie Local Spotlight 2023: The Dollhouse at Pointe Foure Boutique
It's day two of National Secondhand Wardrobe Week 2023! Today, let's talk about the first vintage boutique I fell in love with in Erie, PA. When I discovered The Dollhouse at Pointe Foure Boutique they were still on Peach Street. It has been almost one year since they relocated to their new storefront on State Street in Downtown Erie!
This beautiful new space is much larger than its flagship location. They have expanded their inventory and have added a men's section. The Dollhouse also carries a variety of locally made items that are always perfectly styled into each display. This store is so fun to explore. I will admit the prices can be a bit high, but each item is unique and in great condition. Personally, I love to shop their sales. Those have been the days when I found some of my favorite pieces, such as the plaid jacket shown below.Pointe Foure was the first vintage boutique I discovered in Erie and it holds a special place in my heart. The owner and employees at Pointe Foure are so friendly and welcoming. I truly look forward to stopping in to browse and chit-chat. I can recall many Saturdays spent at the Shops on the Hill. I would first stop by Pointe Foure, then hop over to Tipsy Bean for a caffeine boost, and wrap up the afternoon wandering around Grasshopper to buy more incense.
Today, I spend my Saturdays (and Sundays) on State Street. Check out this reel to see how I occasionally spend my weekends. Watch until the end for a peek inside The Dollhouse. If you are ever out shopping, don't forget to stop by your local boutiques for one-of-a-kind pieces. When you shop local and secondhand, you are supporting your community and helping the environment. It's a win-win-win!
