An Ode to My Fall Home

A night out of dining and socializing is always a welcome activity, but I equally enjoy a cozy night in. When fall comes around, I transform my home into a cozy oasis. The first day I felt a chill in the air, I jumped into the fall season. The furniture was rearranged and new bright, cozy corners breathed new life into my beautiful, old home. Little pumpkins, book stacks, cinnamon candles, and plants now adorn vintage consoles. This sweet time of year is so peaceful and beautiful, it's practically poetic and so here is an ode to my fall home.

On a sunny, fall day when the shadows bounce along the wall and floor, it's a magical sight.

The pumpkins, wicker and ceramic, made their way up from the basement in early September. I just couldn't wait.

The sweet scent of cinnamon fills the house on slow, sunny Sundays.

At dusk, a still quiet comes over the neighborhood as we settle in for the evening.

My little home is my safe haven and place of serenity. Laughter, love, and memories fill the walls. This fall will bring testing new recipes, getting lost in mythological lands, and lazy mornings cuddled on the couch. Bring on the chilly air, hard cider, and oversized sweaters. This fall you can find me at home.
