Erie Local Spotlight: Top Five Brunch Spots
I am a self-proclaimed brunch expert. My expertise comes from years of indulging in as many brunch reservations as possible. I love brunch. If my bank account allowed, I would go every weekend. Call me basic, but if you aren't into delicious breakfast dishes and flavorful cocktails, I wonder if we can be friends?
The Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles is the bomb. I order this 99% of the time I brunch at Pier 6. They also make the perfect loaded Bloody Mary. The prices are fair and the service is great.
Two words. Breakfast. Pizza. Cali's is a favorite of our little girlie brunch group. Classic brunch offerings and some fun menu items as well. The mimosa flight is a must with juice options changing seasonally. When the weather is nice you must sit outside.
When I am feeling bougie and don't care about prices, The Cork is my go-to. The food is always great, the service amazing and the vibes are immaculate.
This funky brewery is in the heart of Downtown Erie. I am a big fan of their cocktails, but for brunch, Voodoo is known for its beermosa. I tend to go for the Voodoo Love Child with mango juice. Not the biggest OJ fan. Voodoo creates unique dishes and has a great brunch! The options are delicious and cheap.
I've eaten brunch at Luminary more times than anywhere else, but somehow, I only have one photo to show for it. Known for its spirits, Luminary offers a variety of cocktails, food, and fresh baked goods. Whenever I grab brunch here, I usually take home a few pastries. The cream cheese Danish is a personal favorite. I will say that the last few times I was here, there were long wait times, but if you have time to spare and want to sit and chat, this is a great option.
Time to make a brunch reservation! Have a great Sunday Funday!
