An Ode to Orange

Research says every seven to ten years our cells regenerate and we can start to like flavors we didn't before. Can the same be true for colors? The past few weeks I have been gravitating towards orange. I always liked the color orange, but I never craved it or appreciated it until recently. These days orange seems to be my color. I want to buy all the orange sweaters and home decor items to compliment the blues in my living room and dining room. The season could definitely be playing a part in my orange appreciation, but as it stands right now, I want orange to be around well after Halloween. Orange is such a happy color. It just took me 30 years to see it.
I was browsing through my saved images on Instagram, and noticed a common theme. Many of the images incorporated the color orange. Here are some of my favorite orange photos:

 Obviously, some pumpkins were involved.
I have purchased a few orange sweaters for the fall. I wish that plaid skirt was real!

 Love a good quote.
Who knew orange could be so chic?

I did some color meaning research on orange and found some very interesting facts from Bourn Creative. The site says: "Orange is the color of joy and creativity. Orange promotes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy that should be shared, such as compassion, passion, and warmth. Orange will help a person recover from disappointments, a wounded heart, or a blow to one’s pride. The meaning of the color orange is stimulating, vibrant, and flamboyant."
Orange has certainly been bringing me joy and creativity. I recently started a wellness journey (more on that) and orange makes me feel cozy, like a warm fire on a chilly fall day. Monarch Butterflies are the most beautiful orange color and I am convinced they are my spirit animal. It just seems like all signs point to orange. I saw a quote recently by Frank Sinatra. It said "Orange is the happiest colors." I couldn't agree more.
What colors have you been gravitating towards lately?
