The Great British Bake Off is Back!

Happy Friday and Happy GBBO Day! It's the most wonderful time of the year! New bakers are entering the tent! I am so excited to see the talent of this year's bunch. I am getting settled in to watch the first episode right... now!

But first, in honor of a new season, let's take a walk down memory lane. Or rather, take a look at some of my favorite bakers. 

Ruby Bhogal, 2018 Finalist. I instantly loved Ruby during season 6. Not only is she an incredible baker, but she has great style too. Her Instagram page is filled with delicious artist cakes. I cannot imagine the time that goes into her frosting art. 

Rahul Mandal, Winner of 2018. Who didn't love Rahul? He just seems so sweet. He is so talented and it almost seems like it wasn't until he won his season that he finally believed he was a great baker. His bakes are always so intricate and decadent. 

Kim Joy, 2018 Finalist. Kim Joy is another baker to remember from season 6. She bakes the most adorable thing! I contemplated buying her cookbook, but I feel like my attempts at her cute turtles will be a baking fail. 

These are just a very select few of my favorite GBBO bakers. I've loved every season of GBBO. Everyone is so talented and so nice. Remember Jürgen from season 12? He was the most adorable human being and his bakes were out of this world! Lizzie, also from season 12, is amazing. She would crack me up every episode. 

Just thinking about all the joy and laughter this show brings me is making me emotional. I always cry during the finale. Who is your favorite baker from GBBO?
