Erie Local Spotlight 2019: Harbor View Miniature Golf
If there is one thing I love to do in the summer, it is kick some putt putt butt. Brandon and I recently scoped out Harbor View Miniature Golf, and it did not disappoint. True to its name, this putt putt course is right on the water. The lush green against the blue of the lake and sky makes for a picturesque scene. It costs $7 to play one round, but there is a daily BOGO deal: buy one round, get the second round half off. We opted to play one round and test out the course. Each hole was more beautifully landscaped than the next. I think it is safe to say Harbor View is the most beautiful putt putt course I have played. After I lost by one stroke, we made out way to Dobbins Landing. We did not get very far when I found an ice cream stand. Grannie Annie's Ice Cream is inside a little bait and tackle shop. I opted for butter pecan and Brandon went for strawberry. With ice creams in hand, we walked around the Bicentennial Tower and saw the ferry take off for the sunset cruise.
It was the perfect summer evening. If you are looking for a fun and inexpensive date night, head to Harbor View. For $20, you can play a round of putt putt for two, indulge in two small ice cream cones, and tip Grannie Annie a dollar.
Update: This mini golf establishment is no longer open.
